Take us back...this sounds soooo good right now! Dreaming of this extreme street food breakfast bomb innovation on the classic Mexican breakfast. It’s essentially an epic loaded nacho sandwich: torta bolillo bread, slathered in black beans, a large milanesa de pollo, power packed with red or green chilaquiles (tortilla chips soaked in salsa) and topped with crema and cheese. We were legit not hungry for 24 hours. Street food gift to the world straight outta Condesa, before Condesa was hipstered. They go all morning til they run out (obviously) at the Esquina del Chilaquil. Watch her story on the vid...her grandma was the first tamale maker in the area. Abuelita inspiration.
