Pastes Kiko’s

When in Rome... had to try Pachuca’s famous “pastes” — flaky meat pies a la mexicana. English miners brought the idea and Mexico made it better (case in point, Lebanese immigrants bringing over the spit cooking idea which Mexicans made into al pastor...perhaps the greatest gift to humanity). So I was curious and the carne with papas, mole verde and rojo were good but had me kicking myself from straying from #tacogoals. But it was all part of the Puchaca low down I got from my friends and local missionaries for the @churchofjesuschrist and amazing hosts @tracyellenkimball @jeffdkimball!
