Birria taco lunch plans with @imctodd were foiled because @lostapatiosslc is only open on weekends. 😩😩😩 Had me in a birria state of mind dreaming about these short rib birria beauties from my cuates at @sobeeats. Absolutely some of the best birria I’ve ever had. No joke. They don’t do tacos that often (usually insane tostadas, tortas, bowls) but word on the street is that they are going be doing Tacos & Churros Omakase 5-course taco pairings with @sandiablochurros soon. Stay tuned Utah foodies…you won’t want to miss this!

Magnificent Monday aka Taco Tuesday eve. Tinga FTW! These works of art from the brilliant Soberanis brothers are one of the many reasons to follow and find @sobeeats where ever they are. Because their tacos, tostadas or tortas will cure whatever Vitamin T deficiency you have. No wonder they recently were named best Mexican food in Utah. Culinary geniuses @salvasobe @fersobe and Victor... in the immortal words of @ramazzotti_eros gracias por existir!

Once upon a time, there were three amazing brothers: Sal, Victor and Fernando. They grew up in the kitchen and working in their parent’s restaurant in Mexico. Wickedly delicious food is in their blood. Years past, they all lost their hair but their love of food grew and grew. And their talent for making people weak in the knees over their culinary magic brought them to delight the rich and famous (@chefthomaskeller @jimmybuffett @thegrandamerica). Their style of insanely good Mexican food was the best in all the land (@sobeeats just won @bestofstate in Utah—hence the impromptu DIY celebration the only way @sandiablochurros knows how to celebrate...with a cowbell). And because of them, we all eat like royalty and lived happily ever after (especially those that share the kitchen with them and get to be the taste test guinea pigs and off menu benefactors [these alambre tacos were pure 🔥...watch for them at the upcoming, social-distancing-appropriate taquiza for Cinco de Mayo and Mother’s Day!]).
